Delaware River, NY, DE, NJ, PA

The Delaware is a large river that is great for canoeing and kayaking. The river is so big that there are possibly hundreds of Put-in and Take-out locations along its stretch. Here is a list of some Delaware river maps and helpful information about the. My recommendation is to find the point of the river that is closest to where you live and look into canoeing there. Since the river is so large parking alongside is easy to find. The majority of the river is rather calm and ideal for any skill level however there are some areas which have white water rapids and require a bit of skill to navigate.
